Before diving into Week 11's Detroit Lions prop bets, let's look at how Week 10's prop bets did.
RB David Montgomery, Anytime touchdown (-105, FanDuel): 1 rushing touchdown
TE Sam LaPorta, 60-Plus Receiving Yards (+125, DraftKings): 40 yards
WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, Over 6.5 receptions (-115, DraftKings, -148, FanDuel): 8 receptions
The Lions return home to take on the Chicago Bears in Week 11, in the first matchup of the teams over the next four weeks. Detroit (7-2) is naturally a heavy favorite over the 3-7 Bears, though the expected return of Justin Fields for the Bears narrowed the spread from where it opened at. Still, the Lions should not have much trouble with the Bears.
Via the sportsbook noted, here are our top Lions prop bets for Week 11.
Top Detroit Lions prop bets for Week 11 vs. Chicago Bears
WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, Anytime touchdown (+105, DraftKings; -115 FanDuel)
St. Brown has topped 100 yards in four straight games, with touchdowns in three of his last five.
The Bears' run defense has been very good over the last handful of weeks, but they can be beaten through the air. They have allowed the second-most passing touchdowns in the league (20), and the 10 touchdowns they've allowed to wide receivers are tied for third-most in the league.
I don't love the catch or yardage props on St. Brown this week, at least in terms of turning a profit. But anytime touchdown, at a little bit of plus-money on DraftKings, is an easy one.
RB David Montgomery, Anytime touchdown (-150, DraftKings; -125, FanDuel)-or First Touchdown (+500, FanDuel; +450, DraftKings)
Montgomery has dismissed the idea of a full-on "revenge game" against his former team this week. Even as happy as he is to be a Lion, there's always a little extra something in play going against a team that let you go.
You can bet the Lions want to get Montgomery a touchdown against the Bears, and if possible get it done at the first opportunity (the first drive?). A first touchdown scorer bet is always big plus-money as a sucker bet, but Montgomery against the Bears on Sunday is as prime a spot as any to consider putting a little bit on it.
QB Jared Goff, Over 267.5 passing yards (-114, FanDuel)
Goff has topped 270 yards through the air in four straight games, and while the Bears have been better lately (thank you, facing the Saints and Panthers) they are still 26th in the league against the pass. And as mentioned, they have allowed 20 passing touchdowns this season.
The over on 1.5 passing touchdowns (-195, DraftKings) for Goff was naturally appealing here. But FanDuel's yardage prop for him is almost 10 yards lower than DraftKings', and it's a way-too easy bet.
