As usual, before digging into Week 8 Detroit Lions' prop bets, let's see how Week 7's prop bets did.

WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, Over 6.5 Receptions (+105, DraftKing; +102, FanDuel): 13 receptions
WR Jameson Williams, Anytime touchdown (+700, FanDuel; +360, DraftKings): No touchdown
RB Jahmyr Gibbs, Over 3.5 receptions (+124, DraftKings): 9 receptions

The boom-or-bust pick of an anytime touchdown for Williams didn't hit, though it wasn't necessarily for lack of opportunity.

In Week 8, on "Monday Night Football" the night before Halloween, the Lions will welcome the Las Vegas Raiders to Ford Field. Detroit is a heavy favorite, eight points on FanDuel and DraftKings' sports books, in a nice rebound spot after being dominated by the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7.

Via the sports book you can find each at listed, here are our top Lions prop bets for Week 8.

3 best Detroit Lions prop bets for Week 8 vs. Raiders

RB Jahmyr Gibbs, 70-Plus Rushing yards (+100, DraftKings)

Splits of the running back work against the Raiders in some games this season dilutes the individual numbers to some degree. Five opposing backs have had at least 65 rushing yards against them, and if not for facing some real plodders they'd be allowing more than 4.4 yards per carry to the position.

Gibbs is hardly a plodder, and even with injuries hampering the Lions' interior offensive line he should be good for an explosive run or two on Monday night.

Overall, the rushing yardage props on Gibbs aren't very appealing this week. So this one, at a little bit of plus-money, stood out.

Gibbs, Five-Plus Receptions (+124, FanDuel)

In a sheer effort to get the ball into Gibbs' hands, since he'll be the lead back again with David Montgomery (ribs) out), the passing game might be a path of lesser resistance to get the ball out of Jared Goff's hands if the interior of the offensive line is having issues.

If the over on 3.5 catches for Gibbs last week felt a little aggressive, betting on five or more catches for him this week may make your head explode. But I'm going back to well this week.

QB Jared Goff, Under 1.5 passing touchdowns (+140, DraftKings; +128, FanDuel)

Yes, "Home Jared Goff" is in play this week, and we know his home-road splits. The Raiders are also seen as a great matchup, making him a no-brainer start in fantasy this week for some. But Las Vegas, if only due to how profitable it is to run on them, has been pretty good against the pass so far this year.

Add in the Lions being such big favorites, and Goff may not be throwing the ball much in the second half on Monday night. He may have to hit the over on 1.5 passing touchdowns early, or he won't hit it. As an example, the Lions led the Packers 27-3 at halftime in Week 4 and Goff had eight pass attempts in the second half. A similar situation could be coming Monday night.

I like the under on Goff passing props this week. Under 1.5 touchdowns through the air is plus-money, so that's the one I'll take here.
