After doing quite well through the first two days, here’s a Day 3 2022 mock draft for the Detroit Lions.

The 2022 NFL Draft has gone pretty well for the Detroit Lions through two days. Aidan Hutchinson became the no-brainer pick at No. 2 overall, then came a bold move up to get wide receiver Jameson Williams with the 12th overall pick.

Day 2 brought a somewhat surprising pick, in Kentucky defensive end Josh Paschal at No. 46. To wrap up the day, the Lions addressed their need at safety by taking Kerby Joseph at pick 97.

Heading into the final day of the draft on Saturday, the Lions have a long wait ahead of them (barring a trade/trades). They are next slated to go on the clock at pick No. 177, late in the fifth round. They’ll have picks 181 and 217 in the sixth round, and they don’t have a seventh-round pick entering the day.

There are still some interesting players available for Rounds 4-7 on Saturday, and the Lions feel certain to come out with at least one or two that will stick around.

Using FanSpeak’s draft simulator, with the first three rounds going as they actually did and no trades, here’s your Day 3 2022 mock draft for the Detroit Lions.
