Following the end of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions scrambled to sign undrafted free agents. Here’s who they’ve agreed to terms with so far.

The Detroit Lions entered the 2018 NFL Draft with only six draft picks. And at the end of the draft on Saturday, the Lions ended up with only six rookies, opting not to trade back for more selections. In fact, the traded up twice instead!

With that in mind, the draft “after the draft” became much more important as Detroit still has needs on their roster. And with several successful examples to draw from, the Lions are certainly hoping to land a hidden undrafted gem or two in the coming days.

Here’s a list of the UDFA’s the Lions have signed or agreed to terms with and a few players who are rumored to have done so as well.

What’s interesting within the names who have reportedly signed or agreed to terms, only two defensive lineman have been added to the roster, with another rumored to be soon. One of the bigger needs for this Detroit team figured to be along their defensive line as the Lions need versatile players to adjust to their new, dynamic scheme under new head coach Matt Patricia.

The Detroit Lions certainly have a talented roster. With only six players selected in the draft, and the apparent focus of their undrafted signings, it appears the Lions’ brass and coaching staff feel like they have all the players they need to implement this new defense and rushing attack in the Motor City.
