Stock Report:  Quick Hits

Stock Up:

Michael Burton: He may not have done well on his one rush, but he might be the best blocker on the team.
Tim Wright: Horrible blocking aside, he got a catch!  And it was a good one!  Hooray!
Riley Reiff: In a season of terrible OL play, including much by him, he played well against Seattle.
Joe Lombardi: Don’t mistake this for saying he called a good game.  He did call some plays that were new and even creative.  Sadly, not enough, but it’s an improvement and his stock bottomed out.
Travis Lewis: Lewis hasn’t looked good this season, but had a fantastic game before his injury.
Laken Tomlinson: He didn’t have a good game, but he did show some improvement, hence he’s on this list.
Devin Taylor: Taylor showed up big this preseason, but it wasn’t’ until this week he showed up in real games.
Caraun Reid: Even though he didn’t play all that well, he scored the Lions only TD.

Stock Down:

Travis Swanson: Oh man was this a bad game for the 2nd year center.
Tyrunn Walker: His injury sucks for a lot of reasons, but it might mean his career in Detroit is over.
Joique Bell:  Any time you miss a game and all three guys who filled in played better than you, you’re here.
Quandre Diggs: Seattle’s only TD came at the expense of the rookie nickel, who blew it badly.
Lance Moore: He had a nice, long reception on one of those creative play calls I mentioned for Lombardi, but for 40 snaps and that’s all we get?  If he didn’t trip over himself, he’d still be running.
Corey Fuller: I joked before the game that Moore would get 40 snaps and Fuller 3.  Nailed it.  Currently trailing quarterback Matthew Stafford in receptions.
TJ Jones:  You had one job , dude.  Why he tried to back shoulder a kick is beyond me.  Bad show.
