The Detroit Lions will play their fifth primetime game of the season (sixth standalone game of the season if you count Thanksgiving) Saturday night against the Dallas Cowboys, with a chance to be the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs if they win out and the San Francisco 49ers lose or tie one of their remaining two games.

The Cowboys are 7-0 at home this season, and they have been a much different team in the friendly confines of AT&T Stadium. While it's easy to play the home/road split narrative for Jared Goff, there will be no weather elements to negatively impact the Lions' signal caller's effectiveness. It should be a fun, high-scoring game.

Uniforms are wholly unimportant to what happens on the field. But there can be a specific vibe a certain uniform combination carries for players-positive, ideally. I'm reminded of Deion Sanders' "look good, feel good, play good, they pay good" line, and there is something to that angle in a team's decision on what uniforms to go with.

So, what jerseys will the Lions be wearing on Saturday night against the Cowboys?

What uniforms are the Detroit Lions wearing Saturday night against the Dallas Cowboys?

On Friday night, the Lions revealed they will be wearing their all-white uniforms on Saturday night. "Bringing the Ice to Dallas."

The Lions have worn their all-white uniforms four times this season. They are 4-0 in those games, with road wins (naturally, since road games are when they'd wear them) over the Kansas City Chiefs (Week 1), Green Bay Packers (Week 4), Los Angeles Chargers (Week 10) and New Orleans Saints (Week 13).

The host Cowboys will counter by wearing their solid dark blue jerseys and white pants. They are 1-0 in that uniform combination this season, and they've won their last six games wearing it going back to Week 10 of the 2019 season (h/t to Jeff Risdon of Lions Wire).
