Without an injury to work his way back from or other distractions in play, Jameson Williams' talent has been able to take hold through so far in his third season. Earlier this week, when asked about Williams' growth, Lions head coach Dan Campbell provided an incredibly detailed answer.

"There's a lot of people that are involved with that. Everything starts with him first, by the way....he's done an outstanding job of...man, rehabbing getting over the injury...he had to deal with what came with the gambling and time off, and then he got hurt in camp before that happened.....He's just matured so much, he's matured and he's worked and he's grinded. That's a credit to him, he's open and he's coachable. We have so many resources here that help guys develop, certainly as players, but as men."

With or without a lot of targets going his way, as we've seen with the first two games this season (20 targets) compared to the last two (five targets), Williams' is having a big impact on the Lions' offense. Defenses have to account for his speed, but sometimes there's nothing they can do about it. He is the only player in the league with at least three receptions of 50-plus yards so far this season, and two of them have been touchdowns.

The Lions and Seahawks were going back and fourth during the third quarter last Monday night. Seattle narrowed Detroit's lead to 28-20, after scoring a touchdown but missing a two-point conversion.

It took one play for the Lions to answer, and turn the momentum back their way.

Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was mic'd up on Monday night. As the video highlights of his audio from the game comes to the moment of Williams' touchdown, with radio analyst T.J. Lang wondering about a deep ball being dialed up to him, St. Brown's mic captured something Williams said at some point before the touchdown.

"I'm about to crib this (expletive)," Williams said.

The full video of St. Brown mic'd up from the game against the Seahawks is below. Williams' quote comes just before the 9:00 mark.
