Detroit Lions Week 10 inactives list: Who's out vs. Los Angeles Chargers?
Coming off a well-placed and well-timed Week 9 bye, the Detroit Lions are quite literally as healthy as they've been all season. It will be interesting to see how Lions' fans travel for the game against the Los Angeles Chargers this week. But it's fair to assume they will infiltrate SoFi Stadium the same way they have the road venues in Kansas City, Green Bay and Tampa Bay this season.
The Lions are getting some key players back against the Chargers. Running back David Montgomery (ribs), center Frank Ragnow (toe) and left guard Jonah Jackson (ankle), after having missed the last two, one and three games respectively, are off the injury report with no designation for Sunday's game.
Overall it's the shortest injury report the Lions have had since Week 1, with only four players carrying a designation for the game.
Guard Halapoulivaati Vaitai was rule out on Friday with a back issue, and defensive tackle Levi Onwuzurike is doubtful with a hip injury. Newly acquired wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones is questionable with a rib injury that apparently dates back to his time with the Cleveland Browns, and backup offensive tackle Dan Skipper was also listed as questionable with a rib injury of his own.
To be updated when announced about 90 minutes before kickoff, here's a look at the list of inactive players for the Lions in Week 10.
Detroit Lions inactives: Week 10 at Los Angeles Chargers
- OG Halapoulivaati Vaitai
- WR Donovan Peoples-Jones
- DT Levi Onwuzurike
- DT Brodric Martin
- CB Steven Gilmore
- LB Trevor Nowaske
Vaitai and Onwuzurike being out is no surprise. Peoples-Jones' Lions debut will have to wait until Week 11 against the Chicago Bears. For the eighth time in nine games, the rookie Martin is a healthy scratch.
And here are Sunday's inactives for the Chargers.
