The Detroit Lions are coming off their Week 9 bye literally as healthy as they've been all season. That they are 6-2 navigating the laundry list of injuries they've had is an accomplishment, and the schedule looks good for them moving forward.

Week 10 brings a trip to take on the Los Angeles Chargers, who are 4-4 after beating up on the Chicago Bears and New York Jets in their last two games. Vegas expects a high-scoring close game.

It's as clean an injury report as the Lions have had all season this week, with some key players set to come back.

Here is Friday's injury final full injury report of the week for the Lions, with game designations for Sunday.

Detroit Lions injury report: Week 10 vs. Chargers

  • OG Halapoulivaati Vaitai (back)-Out
  • DT Levi Onwuzurike (hip)-Doubtful
  • WR Donovan Peoples Jones (ribs)-Questionable
  • OT Dan Skipper (ribs)-Questionable
  • RB David Montgomery (ribs)-No designation
  • C Frank Ragnow (toe)-No designation
  • OG Jonah Jackson (ankle)-No designation
  • CB Khalil Dorsey (knee)-No designation

As expected, Montgomery, Ragnow and Jackson will be back in action this week. Dorsey suffered his injury against the Raiders in Week 8, but he's good to go now and should be back as a core special teamer and the Lions' kickoff returner.

Vaitai is out after being unable to practice at the end of the week. Graham Glasgow has taken the starting job at right guard, so Vaitai's absence is notable for depth alone.

Onwuzurike was a healthy scratch each of the two games before the bye week, and now a hip injury has him doubtful this week.

Before Friday's practice, head coach Dan Campbell strongly hinted Peoples-Jones may not make his Lions' debut on Sunday as he dealt with a rib injury. The injury apparently dates back to his time with the Browns, and he is officially questionable.

Skipper was listed as a full particpant in Friday's practice, which seems to put him on the right side of questionable. If there's significant doubt about his availability, the Lions will probably elevate an offensive lineman from the practice squad for depth on Saturday.

Here's the Friday injury report for the Chargers. No one is listed with a designation for Sunday's game.

Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert had been on practice reports as he deals with a finger injury on his left hand, but he was a full participant all week. Edge rusher Joey Bosa missed Thursday's practice with an illness, but he was back in full on Friday. Cornerback Michael Davis did not practice on Friday due to an illness, but he's good to go to.
