3. Nate Sudfeld, QB

Who would have thought the quarterback position would suddenly be a strength for the Lions after seeing their face of the franchise get traded a few years back? Jared Goff had a phenomenal season last year in Detroit, and is solidified in his role as the starter. The Lions are going to keep Teddy Bridgewater, whom they recently signed, to be the backup.

But from there it gets real fun to think about the future. Hendon Hooker could end up being activated at some point this season, but the Lions will play it safe, of course. Hooker looks like he might be the quarterback of the future and presents a ton of NFL-ready qualities.

That leaves Nate Sudfeld as an easy cut. The Indiana product will look to continue his career, more than likely, on a practice squad somewhere.

4. Julian Okwara, EDGE

The edge position is a tough one to figure out in Detroit. This has been a heated competition throughout training camp and the preseason. Of course, the group is led by standout pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson. The other locks seem to be Charles Harris, John Cominsky, Josh Paschal and James Houston.

The competition for that last spot has been between Romeo and Julian Okwara. Boy, that's a tough spot to be in as you're competing with your brother. Right now, I would give the edge to Romeo, though, making Julian a cut.
