With one preseason game to go, which Lions players are in danger?

5. Trinity Benson, WR

At wide receiver, keep in mind that Jameson Williams will miss the first six games due to suspension. So, with that said, I believe the Lions are going to surely keep Amon-Ra St. Brown, Josh Reynolds, Marvin Jones, Kalif Raymond and seventh-round pick Antoine Green as their top five.

That leaves a door open for either undrafted free agent Dylan Drummond, Chase Cota or Trinity Benson. I believe it will end up being Drummond, meaning the end of the road for Benson.

6. Khalil Dorsey, CB

Finally, veteran cornerback Khalil Dorsey is another guy who will soon see his name cut from the roster. How did we get there?

Remember, Emmanuel Mosley will likely begin the season on the PUP list.

The Lions should end up keeping Cameron Sutton, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Jerry Jacobs, Brian Branch, Starling Thomas and Chase Lucas. Now, Branch could qualify under cornerback or safety because of his versatility. But, that would still leave Dorsey as an odd man out. Keeping either five or six cornerbacks doesn't matter. Either way, Dorsey is out.
