The Detroit Lions clinched their first division title since 1993 in Week 16, but there's still plenty in play for them in Week 17 against the Dallas Cowboys. The Lions have a path to being the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs, but they have to win out.
The Cowboys (10-5) are also playoff-bound with plenty open for them in terms of postseason seed, and they are 7-0 at home this season. So it should be an exciting, high-scoring game in Arlington on Saturday night.
Both teams are pretty healthy, especially considering it's Week 17.
The Lions have ruled defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson out for at least one more week, as his 21-day window to come off IR from a torn pectoral in Week 2 rolls forward. Edge rusher James Houston (fractured ankle) opened his 21-day return window by return to practice on Thursday, and was rule as out as well. Tight end Brock Wright (hip) will miss his second straight game for Detroit.
Lions' cornerback Cameron Sutton was listed as questionable after popping up on the injury report and missing practice on Thursday with a toe injury. Per Josina Anderson of CBS Sports on Saturday morning, Sutton is a true game-time decision.
The Cowboys will be without No. 2 running back Rico Dowdle (ankle) and defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins (knee/ankle) on Saturday night. Left tackle Tyron Smith (back) is listed as questionable, as is defensive end Viliami Fehoko (knee; designated to return from IR).
