The talk around Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff this offseason, until it's done anyway, is about his contract extension as he enters the final year of his current deal. The team doesn't appear to be in a huge rush about it, not that Brad Holmes would say anything one way or the other publicly anyway.

Though we can ballpark where Goff's new contract will be with some confidence, the price will only keep going up and some people think the four-year, $180 million deal the Atlanta Falcons just gave Kirk Cousins is changing the game in talks between the Lions and Goff.

In any case, and truly not surprisingly, Goff is already back out getting a little throwing work in this offseason. If his teammates aren't able to join him, at least for now anyway, that means enlisting whoever might be available to help him get his work in. Strangers (?), friends, family members, etc.

That group may or may not include his fiance', Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Christen Harper, if she'd be willing to. Based on recent evidence, she is more than willing to hit the practice field with her future husband.

In a short clip originally posted on her Instagram, Harper showed her active role in Goff's early offseason work. Specifically, snapping him the ball.

Harper was sure to tag Lions' center Frank Ragnow in the post, and say "Coming for you @frank_ragnow" with the requisite eye ball emojis. She definitely delivered a nice, clean snap there. Presumably it's not the first time she's done it, this offseason or in previous offseasons since she's been with Goff.

Goff has naturally played it coy regarding his looming contract extension, saying right after last season that it's "not up to me" and "out of my hands." But he's keeping himself sharp in casual throwing sessions here in March; whatever it takes and with whoever wants to help him out.
