As usual, before diving into Week 6's Detroit Lions prop bets let's do the accounting from Week 5's bets.

RB David Montgomery, Over 70.5 rushing yards (-115, DraftKings): 109 rushing yards
RB Jahmyr Gibbs: 40-plus rushing yards (+126, FanDuel): Did not play
QB Jared Goff: Under 242.5 passing yards (-115, DraftKings): 236 passing yards

As Meatloaf one sang, "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad". And if Gibbs had, you know, played, he may have cashed that prop too.

But it's on to Week 6, as the Lions travel this time to take on another NFC South opponent in the 3-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It's such an interesting game that the NFL moved it into the late Sunday afternoon window. The Lions are 3-point favorites on FanDuel and DraftKings sports books.

With the sportsbook you can find each bet on noted, here are our top Lions' prop bets for Week 6 against the Buccaneers.

3 best Detroit Lions prop bets for Week 6 at the Buccaneers

RB David Montgomery Prop Bets
-Over 20.5 Rushing Attempts (+106, FanDuel)
-Over 2.5 receptions (-130, DraftKings)

Montgomery has had at least 19 carries in all three games he has played in and finished this season (he was injured during Week 2), and if Week 5 against the Panthers had been more competitive he would have gotten more work late. Sunday's game should be more competitive, setting him up to be involved throughout.

With Jahmyr Gibbs out against Carolina, as he will be again this week, Montgomery had a notable uptick in passing game involvement with six targets (two catches for 20 yards). That should continue on Sunday, putting the over on 2.5 catches firmly in play to cash.

WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, Anytime touchdown (+150, FanDuel; +135, DraftKings)

St. Brown will return to action after missing last week's game, with no injury designation for Sunday. He has scored or topped 100 yards in all four games he has played this season, with at least five catches in all four.

Some alt-yardage props on St. Brown grabbed my attention at plus-money this week. But I'll just go with the lower-hanging fruit of an anytime touchdown.
