Amon-Ra St. Brown had another big game this week, hauling in seven passes for 70 yards and two touchdowns as his Detroit Lions beat the Cleveland Browns 34-10 on Sunday.
Detroitās star wideout has been on a tear to start the season, with his production in Detroitās first four games putting him next to Randy Moss in 2007ā very rare company, to say the least.
But, as it turns out, heās got an everyman side to him as well.
Late Saturday night/Sunday morning before the game, a post went viral on social media of what appeared to be St. Brownās verified MyPlayer profile on the popular video NBA 2K26 participating in an online Park game ā at 4 a.m.
St. Brownās player had a āfootballā icon on his head that the game uses to denote verified athletes. He was also apparently playing alongside Detroit Pistons big man Isaiah Stewart, whose virtual player can also be seen in the video.

St. Brown caught getting in a 2K session at dawn, before Week 4
Staying up late playing video games before a shift at work or school in the morning is a tale as old as time that many a person can relate to, but itās a bit more noteworthy when youāre an All-Pro receiver with an NFL game the next afternoon.
But hey, St. Brown got in the end zone twice, and the Lions won by 24. So, it worked?Ā
After the game, St. Brown had a little fun with the rumors with a post to his Instagram story.

The star receiver continued to lean into the joke on an Instagram post Monday, adding a photo of a 26-game winning streak on the courtā no small accomplishment, indeed.Ā
But, it remains to be seen if St. Brown himself was responsible for the dominant run, or if he was getting carried by his teammates. And he may not be close to the best 2K player on the Lions. If Jahmyr Gibbsā Instagram story from this week is any indication, Gibbs might have St. Brownās number.

So, maybe itās good that St. Brown was (allegedly) up at 4 a.m., grinding to get better so he can beat his teammate. And that $120 million contract extension should give him all the in-game virtual currency he could want.Ā
As long as the Lions keep on winning and St. Brown keeps producing, his love for the sticks wonāt be an issue. But his struggles against Gibbs on the blacktop could be something to monitor throughout the season. The wideout addressed the 2K accusations on his podcast, the St. Brown Podcast, on Wednesday.
āI canāt confirm or deny if I was on 2K at 4 a.m. I do love playing 2K, though. It definitely was a trap game, you could say I guess. But we came out on top, we got the dub, it was a good game.ā
