Pro Bowl fan voting has officially ended, and Detroit Lions fans were given an extra jolt of urgency on the final day.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero posted on X the latest update on where players stand at the respective positions. Most notable development, other than Cleveland Browns' Shedeur Sanders inexplicably reaching the top ten in QB voting, was Jack Campbell slipping to #2 among inside linebackers.
To add insult to injury, taking over the top spot in ILB is Los Angeles Rams' Nate Landman. Landman recorded 10 tackles, six of them solo, including one tackle for loss, in the Rams' 41-34 victory over the Lions this past Sunday. Campbell did not record a TFL in that game, but did have 14 tackles, with 10 of them being solo tackles.
With Campbell slipping to #2 at ILB, no Lion leads their position in voting entering the final day of voting. Running back Jahmyr Gibbs rose back to #2 after falling to third in the previous update. Gibbs is eighth in overall votes (85,165), behind only San Francisco 49ers Christian McCaffrey among RBs. The only other Lion second in voting at his position is punter Jack Fox, who is leading among NFC punters.
OT Penei Sewell, DE Aidan Hutchinson, and SS Brian Brian all remain #3 in voting at their positions, although Branch is unlikely to be selected given his torn Achilles injury. C Graham Glasgow continues to remain steady at #7, while the injured FS Kerby Joseph slipped to #4. The also injured TE Sam LaPorta has also fallen outside of the top ten among TEs.
QB Jared Goff is the big riser in this latest update, jumping up to #8 from #10. Goff now has the fifth most votes among NFC QBs. WR Amon-Ra St. Brown was the only other riser this week, reclaiming the #4 spot after a one-week dip to #5.

Jameson Williams is still nowhere to be found
Pro Bowl fan voting opened on Thanksgiving, which happened to coincide with the amazing surge in play out of WR Jameson Williams. Despite that, Williams has once again fallen short of the top ten in this latest fan voting update.
Williams has become one of Goff's favorite targets over the past three weeks, catching 21 passes for a staggering 374 yards. By comparison, Seattle Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who was on pace to break Calvin Johnson's regular-season mark for receiving yards, has 16 catches for 228 yards in that same stretch.
Williams' 936 receiving yards are good for tenth in the league, while his seven TD receptions are tied for eighth. Both of those numbers are greater than three NFC WRs currently in the top ten in voting (Romeo Doubs, Emeka Egbuka, Tetairoa McMillian). Regardless, Williams had a slim chance of being among the four WRs selected outright, given the strong seasons out of St. Brown, Smith-Njigba, Rams' Puka Nacua, and Dallas Cowboys' George Pickens. However, Williams' season, especially as of late, has earned him more respect than he's gotten with fan voting.

There is still a chance Williams can get in, even as a high alternate, as fan voting is only one part of the process. Fan voting, player voting, and coach voting are all weighed evenly. Williams and other deserving Lions may perform significantly better among players and coaches, allowing them to make it.
The full Pro Bowl roster is expected to be announced shortly after New Year's Day. Afterward, players can elect to sit out the 2026 Pro Bowl Games or be unable to participate due to reaching the Super Bowl. From there, alternates will be contacted to replace them. Alternates who replace a player do officially receive the Pro Bowl honor on their résumé. But in a perfect world, Lions like Campbell will get in outright -- only to sit out due to the Super Bowl.
