Heading toward Sunday night’s game, here are three best Detroit Lions bets for Week 18 against the Green Bay Packers.

For one last time this year (unless they have a playoff game), before digging into this week’s Detroit Lions best bets let’s see how Week 17’s bets did. Odds are as of the time the post was written, and may have changed.

WR DJ Chark, Over 45.5 receiving yards (-113, FanDuel): 56 yards
Chark, Longest reception, Over 21.5 yards (-114, FanDuel; -110, DraftKings): Long of 28 yards
WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, Over 7.5 receptions (+118, FanDuel): 4 receptions

In Week 18 the Lions will face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football, with plenty at stake for both teams even if Detroit can’t make the playoffs with a win. Pete Carroll, whose Seattle Seahawks needs to win earlier on Sunday and have the Lions beat the Packers to make the playoffs, knows exactly what to expect from Dan Campbell’s team.

"But the last thing I would ever worry about is Coach Campbell’s team not getting ready to play, regardless of what’s at stake or what’s going on. He’s going to get them fired up and jacked. That’s all he’s ever done. And that will be a great match, too.”"

Via FanDuel or DraftKings Sportsbook as noted, here are three best Detroit Lions bests for Week 18 against the Green Bay Packers.

Best Detroit Lions bets vs. Green Bay Packers in Week 18

PK Michael Badgley, Over 1.5 field goal makes (+100, DraftKings)

Badgley has made multiple field goals in four of his last five games, and in the one exception (Week 16 against the Carolina Panthers) the Lions faced a big deficit, went for two once and he only had one attempt.

It won’t be peak January conditions at Lambeau Field Sunday night, with a decent temperature and not much sustained wind forecasted, which will make things easier for the kicking game. The Packers have allowed multiple field goal makes in four of their last five games, and it would be all five if Vikings kicker Greg Joseph had made either one of 46 or 50-yard attempts in Week 17.

Lions, +5 (-110, DraftKings)

The Lions are 4.5-point underdogs on FanDuel Sportsbook, which begs for a bet on them to cover. As a 5-point dog now on DraftKings, I’m taking the bet on Detroit to cover.

Jamaal Williams, Anytime touchdown (-130, DraftKings; -135, FanDuel)

This is fairly low-hanging fruit for the league leader in rushing touchdowns (with 15), against his former team with the Lions coaching staff aware he’s one touchdown shy of tying Barry Sanders’ single-season franchise record.

For those that would like to get a little more aggressive, Williams is +650 to be the first touchdown scorer and +425 (both DraftKings) to score two or more touchdowns. FanDuel has him at +650 to be the first touchdown scorer, and +350 to score two-plus touchdowns.

Note: Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
