3. Mike White, New York Jets

White took two huge hits to the midsection against the Buffalo Bills in Week 14, but managed to return to game after exiting with a rib issue. Early indications are he may be able to play against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, and he was top-eight fantasy quarterback in Week 12 (QB6) and Week 13 (QB7). He has thrown for at least 268 yards in three straight games, albeit without a touchdown in each of the last two.

The Lions enter Week 15 allowing the most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season (24.1, Yahoo! scoring). As they’ve become very tough to run on over the last six weeks, five of six opposing quarterbacks have topped 290 passing yards and/or had multiple passing touchdowns against them. White has volume potential on his side, with 44 pass attempts despite weather rough conditions last week and 101 pass attempts over the last two games.

Make sure White remains on track to play this week before going all-in on him as a replacement for Goff. But fantasy managers looking for a viable option for Week 15 should have him firmly on the radar.
