3. WR Amon-Ra St. Brown

One of the best stories of the fantasy season last year, St. Brown was a league winner many people scooped up on the waiver wire during the fantasy playoffs. The Lions rookie was absolutely dominant down the stretch, as he was the WR2 over the last six weeks only trailing Cooper Kupp. In those games, St. Brown racked up 55 catches on 71 targets, 583 yards, and five touchdowns. He also added seven rushes for 61 yards and one rushing touchdown.

Between the connection Goff and St. Brown developed last season as well as the offense getting better as a whole, it’s easy to see a scenario where the sophomore wideout is able to somehow build upon his rookie campaign as a whole.

That being said, the hype is getting a little out of control. Even if St. Brown is the most targeted weapon in this offense, there are a lot of mouths to feed. He won’t maintain the pace he was on over the final six weeks last season. Expectations still need to be tempered.

Right now St. Brown is at WR30 in Fantasy Pros’ full PPR ranking. Managers could get away with St. Brown being a WR2 in PPR, but he’s generally going to be best utilized as a flex play with a bankable floor.
