As the Detroit Lions shift to the offseason, here are five potential landing spots for their top unrestricted free agents.

The Detroit Lions finished the 2021 season with a win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 18. A 3-13-1 record landed them the No. 2 overall pick in April’s draft, and they currently have around $38 million in cap space (according to Spotrac).

The Lions could be solid players in the 2022 free agent market, and their list of looming internal free agents is not filled with many irreplacable names. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t some key decisions coming on who to bring back or let go, with market value, cost, that player’s willingness to come back and how they could be replaced all in the equation.

Looking at upcoming unrestricted free agents (as of Jan. 10), here are potential landing spots for the Lions top internal UFAs.
