Here is the final injury report of week for the Detroit Lions heading into Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Detroit Lions will get another chance to put a mark in the win column Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, while trying to end a long losing streak in Pittsburgh.

Ahead of the game, here’s the final injury report of the week for the Lions. It’s a fairly short one, as could be expected coming off a bye, but…

Detroit Lions Week 10 Injury Report

PK Austin Seibert (right hip)-Out
RB Jamaal Williams (thigh)-Out
OLB Austin Bryant (shoulder)-Questionable
OT Taylor Decker (finger)-Questionable
CB AJ Parker (neck)-No Designation

Seibert was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, then he did not participate on Friday. In his absence Ryan Santoso, who kicked in two games earlier this season and made all five of his kicks (four extra points, one field goal) when Seibert was out with COVID-19, will come up from the practice squad and do the kicking for the Lions on Sunday.

Santoso also had six touchbacks on seven kickoffs over that previous two-game stint, whereas Seibert has five touchbacks on his 26 kickoffs this season. For a Lions team that can use all the advantages it can get, in whatever margins they can exist, Santoso being able to boom kickoffs is not insignificant.

Williams missed the Week 8 game against the Philadelphia Eagles going into the bye, and he’s out again after not practicing all week. Rookie Jermar Jefferson and converted safety Godwin Igwebuike will operate as the backfield depth behind D’Andre Swift, just as they did against Philadelphia.

Bryant’s role has fluxuated over the last seven games, and he had a season-high seven tackles in Week 8.  Limited in practice all week, he seems to be truly questionable for Sunday.

Decker was activated from IR during the bye week, and after practicing in full all week he looks to be good to go for his season debut on Sunday. His being listed as questionable feels like a nod to the probable designation no longer existing, if he even should be given a designation after practicing in full all three days.

Parker missed Week 8 after what initially seemed to be a bad injury in Week 7. He practiced fully all week, and has no injury designation for Sunday.

On the other side for the Steelers, wide receiver Chase Claypool (toe) has been declared out and former Lions tight end Eric Ebron looks set to return after missing two games with a hamstring injury.
