The Detroit Lions 2010s All-Decade team on defense
By Jon Poole
Cornerback
In the other candidate for the most uninspiring position group were the cornerbacks, the only thing keeping them out of the basement is Darius Slay was easily better than DeAndre Levy.
Though I’m not sure the runner ups for cornerback hold their weight against any other position in the past 10 years.
It was Chris Houston and a bunch of scabs to start the 2010s until 2013 when the Lions brought in Rashean Mathis and Darius Slay.
But the Lions never successfully addressed the position since. They drafted Quandre Diggs of out Texas as a cornerback who had a good 2015 in the flats before converting to more safety.
The rest aren’t even worth mentioning.
