Two players to watch for the Packers

Marquez Valdes-Scantling – With their best receiver sidelined and aging options at tight end, the Packers’ second-year receiver is sure to see his share of targets. He performed well in two games against the Lions last season, with ten catches, over 100 yards, and a touchdown.

Green Bay simply doesn’t have the aerial depth to compete with the Lions’ secondary; Valdes-Scantling will likely need to have his best game of the year for them to be able to move the ball through the air consistently.

Kevin King – The Packers have made a distinct effort to stock their secondary with young talent over the past few years, including selecting King early in the second round in 2017. After two injury-plagued seasons, he’s started to come into his own this year including snagging a key fourth-quarter interception in last week’s win over the Cowboys.

At 6-3, he could see his share of snaps against Kenny Golladay on Monday. The winner of this matchup will certainly help their squad gain an edge.
