Two players to watch for the Lions

Marvin Jones – The veteran wideout has absolutely feasted on the Packers’ secondary during his Lions tenure. In five contests against Green Bay as a Lion, Jones has averaged over 95 receiving yards per game with six touchdowns.

The Lions have had much success looking to Jones on deep seam routes and fade patterns this year; should the Packers shift most of their attention to Golladay, Jones could be in for yet another big day.

Damon Harrison – Detroit’s run defense has been disappointing this season, to say the least, with their hulking nose tackle yet to flash his typical run-stuffing brawn with any consistency. With three of Aaron Jones‘ four touchdowns last week coming on runs of five or fewer yards, the Lions will need Harrison to help anchor their short-yardage defense and get off the field on third down.

This will be particularly critical in the red zone; the Lions gave up a trio of one-yard touchdown runs in their loss to the Chiefs and can’t afford those lapses this week.
