Jonah Williams. 17. player. Scouting Report. Offensive Tackle. 31. Pick Analysis. Alabama

After trading up early in the first round to draft their franchise quarterback, the Giants take one of the premier lineman in the draft to protect him. After solidifying the interior positions on the line and having one dependable tackle, the Giants need to add just one more guy there to have a line that should last for many years.

Williams can play either left or right tackle, whichever the Giants choose to play him at, though as a rookie he would probably start on the right side. Williams is a smart player that takes his approach to the game very seriously. He studies his opponents and keeps track of his own successes and failures. Getting someone of Williams’ stature both physically and mentally would be a huge success with the 17th overall pick.
