The way both of these situations have played out, neither one of them is likely to have a ton of friends in the Pittsburgh locker room at the moment.

Bell chose to sit out the entire season over a contract dispute, while Brown’s drama with the team seemed to build up behind closed doors as the year went, eventually boiling over right at the very end.
On the one hand, while Bell went with the ultimate holdout, Brown still showed up for his team through all of this, led the league in touchdowns, and turned in another Pro Bowl season.
Another way of looking at it though, “at least” Le’Veon’s issues appeared to only be about money, while a host of different factors and people (including teammates, coaches, and ownership) came into the equation for the A.B. fallout.
Making a move for either of these guys would come with a very real risk of chemistry issues within the team, there’s no way around it.
