As the Detroit Lions get ready to take on the Oakland Raiders, we take a look at this week’s injury report. The secondary took another hit last week as nickel corner Josh Wilson suffered a “pretty significant” injury to his right knee. As a result Wilson was placed on season-ending injured reserve.
Out
DT Gabe Wright (Ankle) – Wright, the rookie defensive tackle, is the only player officially listed as out. He did not practice at all this week. With Wright’s absence, look for Jermelle Cudjo to see a fair share of snaps.
Questionable
CB Nevin Lawson (Concussion) – Lawson has a 50/50 chance of playing . He did not practice on Wednesday, but was limited in both Thursday and Friday’s practice. Lawson’s biggest test comes on Saturday as the Lions will see if Lawson passes the NFL’s concussion protocol.
S Don Carey (Back) – Like Lawson, Carey did not practice on Wednesday but practice on a limited basis both Thursday and Friday. Carey will be a game-time decision.

Probable
DE Ziggy Ansah (Toe) – It’s a toe. He is Ziggy Ansah. He has 9 more of them. He will play.
RB Joique Bell (Shoulder) – In a year when Joique Bell has showed up more on the injury report than the stat sheet, he is listed with a shoulder injury. Bell was limited during Wednesday’s practice, but was a full participant in practice for the rest of the week. Bell will play on Sunday.

DE Jason Jones (Non-Injury) – Not much is known as to why Jones missed practices on Wednesday and Thursday. But he was a full participant in Friday’s practice and will play Sunday against the Raiders.
P Sam Martin (Back) – Martin tweaked his back while picking up a nice tackle, but stayed in the game. Martin was a full participant in both Thursday and Friday’s practice. Look for Martin to be ready to go for Sunday’s game.
