This week’s power rankings have started to reflect some of the changes that have happened across the league due to injuries and inability. The Steelers have dropped three spots despite a win last Sunday and the Cowboys felt the effect of losing their 2 best players as they dropped their matchup with the Falcons.

The 4 teams who have yet to win a game, Detroit, Chicago, New Orleans and Baltimore, have yet to fall into that bottom tier, but they are awfully close. Oddly enough, Baltimore plays at the Roethlisberger-less Steelers this week and the Saints host the Romo and Bryant-less Cowboys, meaning both of those teams have a chance to get one in the win column this week. Meanwhile, the Lions travel to Seattle for the surest loss of the season and the Bears host the Raiders in what might be their most winnable game this season and certainly their most winnable game until December.

Of the seven undefeated teams remaining (Green Bay, New England, Denver, Atlanta, Arizona, Cincinnati and Carolina), the Bengals (vs. KC)and Broncos (vs. MIN) have the best chance of falling off of the top. The Colts and Seahawks are still in the top 10 despite losing records because they have the potential to be a top team in their conference.

Te Jets are this week’s biggest riser, moving up seven spots to number 13. The biggest dropper this week is San Diego who dropped eight spots to number 17. That about does it for the big movers and shakers in this week’s NFL power rankings, so without further ado:

Previous: . Green Bay Packers. 1. team. 49. In Rodgers’s last 18 home games, excluding the Bears game in which he threw his most recent interception in December of 2012, he has completed 68.9 percent of his passes for 5,212 yards with 48 touchdowns and zero interceptions.. (3-0)

Previous: . New England Patriots. 2. team. 47. Brady has thrown 400 career touchdown passes with 58 of those going to Gronk, more than any other receiver. It’s safe to say if the pair stays healthy the Pats will stay on top of the AFC.. (3-0)

36. Seattle got off the schnide against Chicago and they welcome home the 0-3 Lions. If they can beat Cincinnati on the road the following week, the Seahawks could make it to 9 or 10 wins before they lose 2 more.. (1-2). Previous: . Seattle Seahawks. 3. team

4. team. 45. The Broncos just keep winning. To steal a line from Toby Keith, Manning ain’t as good as he once was but he’s as good once as he ever was. Or at least Broncos fans hope so.. (3-0). Previous: . Denver Broncos

44. Atlanta looks downright scary right now the way Ryan and Jones are clicking. Jones has 34 receptions, 440 yards and 4 TDs in 3 games. That’s as many or more TDs than 8 full-time starters have passed for, including Eli Manning, Russell Wilson and Teddy Bridgewater.. (3-0). Previous: . Atlanta Falcons. 5. team

It probably won’t be long until the Cardinals are in the top 5 with the way they’ve been playing. Arians picked up right where they left off last year before Palmer was hurt. If the Cards can stay healthy they may end up with the division in their hands.. (3-0). Previous: . Arizona Cardinals. 6. team. 32

Previous: . Dallas Cowboys. 7. team. 123. The Cowboys had the Falcons on the ropes and then ran it just 5 times in the second half. With no Dez Bryant. And Brandon Weeden at quarterback.. (2-1)

Previous: . Cincinnati Bengals. 8. team. 56. The Bengals have a real opportunity ahead of them with Roethlisberger out for at least a month and the Ravens at 0-3. The schedule isn’t very kind though as they go up against the Kansas City, Seattle and Buffalo defenses the next three weeks.. (3-0)

team. 46. The Colts managed to stave off the Titans and avoid an 0-3 hole. Their reward? Tied for first place in the AFC South at 1-2.. (1-2). Previous: . Indianapolis Colts. 9

Carolina Panthers. 10. team. 87. The Panthers traded for veteran DE Jared Allen who wasn’t a fit in Vic Fangio’s new defense in Chicago. They’re also 3-0 in a division that looks like a 2 team race. After Tampa Bay on Sunday, the next four games (@SEA, PHI, IND, GB) will really tell us what the Panthers are capable of.. (3-0). Previous:

11. team. 16. The Bills have been really good to start the year. The D is top notch and Tyrod Taylor looks like a gem. But if the Bills are going to compete for a playoff spot, they’ll have to win more division games like they did last week.. (2-1). Previous: . Buffalo Bills

54. We’re 3 weeks in and still unsure what we’re going to get from Sam Bradford and the Eagles. At the halfway point, they could be 6-2 or 2-6. Which team will claim the NFC East this year?. (1-2). Previous: . Philadelphia Eagles. 12. team

The Jets have a great defense and an unremarkable offense. The schedule looks to play out in their favor too. This could be the year the Jets return to the playoffs if the offense can find some life.. (2-1). Previous: . New York Jets. 13. team. 30

55. With Big Ben out 4-6 weeks, the Steelers’ high flying offense will return to the ground one way or another via Le’Veon Bell or Mike Vick.. (2-1). Previous: . Pittsburgh Steelers. 14. team

The Giants may end up being the team that comes out of the NFC East if the Eagles can’t figure things out and the Cowboys can’t get healthy. Then again, 8 or 9 wins may be all it takes for this division.. (1-2). Previous: . New York Giants. 15. team. 31

The Vikings look better each week. If they can figure out a passing game, they may actually have something.. (2-1). Previous: . Minnesota Seahawks. 16. team. 36

17. team. 13. The Chargers haven’t looked too great on the road but they play 5 of their next 7 at home. If they can take care of business at home, they should be in good shape heading down the stretch.. (1-2). Previous: . San Diego Chargers

Previous: . Oakland Raiders. 18. team. 28. The way the Raiders have started, .500 isn’t out of the question. I don’t know if the schedule quite allows it, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Raiders at or near .500 in the division this season.. (2-1)

team. 124. So far, the Chiefs look pretty good. I don’t think anyone expected them to beat the Packers or even the Broncos for that matter before the season started. The schedule lightens up a bit before their rematch in Denver.. (1-2). Previous: . Kansas City Chiefs. 19

Mariota has been a pleasant surprise on a team that still won’t win more than 6 games. If Tennessee can continue to add talent, the future is bright.. (1-2). Previous: . Tennessee Titans. 20. team. 35

St. Louis Rams. 21. team. 51. The Rams got their upset victory Week 1. The rest of the schedule has its moments for some Ws, including a five week stretch where their opponents are a combined 4-11, but any better than .500 looks like a stretch.. (1-2). Previous:

Miami Dolphins. 22. team. 59. Boy, Miami has taken a nose dive. I had high hopes for an up and coming offense and a defense that added Suh, but the truth is there’s too much dysfunction on this team right now. The Dolphins are one good quarter away from being 0-3.. (1-2). Previous:

team. 26. How is this team 0-3? I just don’t get it. There’s too much talent here for this to last too long. They’re a team I can see ripping off 7 or 8 wins in their next 9 games.. (0-3). Previous: . Baltimore Ravens. 23

15. Did the Saints drop one bad game to the Bucs or are they past their prime? Their next 5 games should answer that. There’s lots that needs work in the mean time.. (0-3). Previous: . New Orleans Saints. 24. team

team. 50. The rails have come off. A lot of Lions fans are expecting the worst but there’s still time to right the ship if the offense can stop being so predictable. It seems everyone knows what plays Detroit is running.. (0-3). Previous: . Detroit Lions. 25

26. team. 10. The defense may be pulling things together but the offense is still bad. This week they head to Atlanta where they’ll have to cover the best receiver in the game.. (1-2). Previous: . Houston Texans

27. team. 42. The 49ers surprised Week 1 but have resumed their expected poor play. They’ve been outscored 90 – 25 the last two weeks.. (1-2). Previous: . San Francisco 49ers

Unsurprisingly, Jimmy Clausen is not better than Jay Cutler. Gonna be a long season in the windy city.. (0-3). Previous: . Chicago Bears. 28. team. 57

Cleveland Browns. 29. team. 53. The Browns were good when Johnny Manziel was on the field. Johnny Manziel is sitting behind Josh McCown though. Josh McCown is bad. As such, the Browns are bad.. (1-2). Previous:

Previous: . Jacksonville Jaguars. 30. team. 52. Nothing quite like getting demolished by the Super Bowl Champs to bring you back down to earth after the season’s first victory.. (1-2)

48. The good news: The Bucs have a fairly easy slate this year. The bad news: They are 1-2 against bad teams.. (1-2). Previous: . Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 32. team
