5. Tyler Lockett, WR, Seattle Seahawks

Coming out of Kansas State, Tyler Lockett was widely considered by most teams to be a guy that would make his biggest contribution on the special teams unit returning kicks.

Since then — things have changed.

Lockett received considerable playing time during the Seahawks four exhibition games, earning himself late-round consideration. Especially in deeper leagues.

The former Wildcat finished the preseason with six catches for 129 yards and one touchdown. He also added a 103-yard kickoff return for a score and a 67-yard punt return for a touchdown as well.

While the big plays are great, my advice is still to exercise caution when it comes to Lockett. If you decide to try to make a trade, make sure you don’t overpay. Seattle remains a run-first team, but at the right value a fair trade could turn out to pay off in a big way.
