A week after the NFL Power Rankings felt like they were settling in to an orderly top ten while the middle was left to be sorted, the script has flipped. The Arizona Cardinals defended their perch atop the NFC but the Packers blasted the Eagles, the Broncos got smothered in St. Louis and the Kansas City Chiefs took care of the Seattle Seahawks to run their winning streak to five games.

Meanwhile, the awful state of the NFC South might be enough to keep Atlanta Falcons head coach Mike Smith from getting fired. The 4-6 Falcons now sit in first place thanks to a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Saints, also 4-6.

NFL Power Rankings for week 12 have been updated following Monday Night Football.
