Dan Campbell's postgame locker room speeches are a weekly event, usually very high energy but occasionally more subdued when the mood fits.

After the Lions good a close game and made it a decisive 31-9 win over the Minnesota Vikings, Campbell's locker room speech promised to be epic. And he delivered.

"You guys look like you remember who the f**k you are!”, Campbell exclaimed after the postgame prayer.

"That's awesome; that's a hell of a win, guys," Campbell said. "All I can think about is that we've been forged in this stuff now. This has been three years in the making — some of it four. That just doesn't happen. You've got to work through it, grind through it, and go through the downs to get to the ups of where we're at."

"That was unbelievable, man", Campbell continued. "Division winners, back-to-back seasons, and the No. 1 seed. That was a total team effort."

Campbell then gave out some game balls. The first went to running back Jahmyr Gibbs (170 total yards, four total touchdowns), then Campbell turned to two key cogs in an excellent defensive performance.

“Five total tackles, one pass defended,” Campbell started. “Only gave 18 (Justin Jefferson)—(he) had three catches. Mr. Amik Robertson.”

Robertson took the opportunity to offer appreciation for his teammates.

"I mean this from the bottom of my heart, man. I appreciate y'all because y'all gave me a chance to showcase what I can do when they tried to bury me, dog", Robertson said. "But they can't bury what comes from the (expletive) dirt."

"They can't bury what comes from the (bleeping) dirt."

Campbell then gave out his third and final game ball.

"Seven total tackles, one quarterback hit, one pass defense. Welcome back, Alex Anzalone,” Campbell said.

Campbell finished with one more message to his team about how tough it is to do what they're doing.

"What we’ve done is not easy. It’s not easy,” Campbell said. “But I’m telling you what, man. I’ve said it all along. We’ve got a special group, man. And this has been coming a long time. That’s a lot of hard work and we are the number one f**king seed with a bye, gentlemen!”
