For the first time in over three decades, the Detroit Lions are playing on the NFC Championship weekend. After beating both the Rams and the Buccaneers in front of a home crowd at Ford Field, the Lions are heading to San Francisco with a berth in Super Bowl LVIII on the line.

It'll be the first time this season that the Lions and the 49ers play. All-time, San Francisco leads the overall series, 39-28-1. For the Lions, recently-signed veteran tight end Zach Ertz, who was only signed to the practice squad this week, won't suit up for today's Championship game.
