Way too early 2024 NFC North Power Rankings
The Lions' division is full of teams on the rise. How will next year shake out?
1. Detroit Lions
This isn't even really homerism. 2023's NFC North champions look, on paper, to still be the best team in the division. And while a lot's going to change between now and when training camp opens in late July, there's no reason to believe the Lions won't be contenders next season as well. Especially with both Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn returning to their respective coordinator roles, Detroit can focus solely on building on last year, instead of trying to reinvent themselves in someone else's system. The defense will need some help via the draft and free agency, but the Lions look as good as any team in the NFC North right now.
