In arguably the most intriguing game of NFL Wild Card Weekend, two quarterbacks will face their respective former teams.

Jared Goff and the NFC North-winning Detroit Lions will host its first playoff game since 1994 against former quarterback Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night. This game has the highest total of all Wild Card games in what's projected as a tight game.

Detroit is favored over Los Angeles, but only by a field goal as the Rams won four straight to close the regular season and secure a playoff spot.

It's worth noting that the Rams rested nearly all of its key players in Week 18 while the Lions played its starters and potentially lost a key cog in tight end Sam LaPorta with the expectation that he'll be out for the postseason matchup.

There are plenty of storylines in this Wild Card meeting as these teams famously made a trade that sparked the Rams' 2021 Super Bowl run with Stafford being traded for Goff as the centerpiece of the blockbuster trade. Goff has panned out in Detroit, leading the team to a division crown, now can he beat his predecessor?
