The Detroit Lions largely had a successful season. They barely missed out on advancing to the Super Bowl, but they won the NFC North for the first time since the division was created in 2002 and gave their fans more hope than they've had in decades.

Furthermore, the team is young on both sides of the ball and has plenty of cap space to utilize this offseason to help make them even better for the 2024 campaign.

With that being said, the NFC North is still one of the most competitive divisions in the league. The Green Bay Packers have seemingly found their quarterback and the Chicago Bears are about to draft the top quarterback in the Draft. The Minnesota Vikings still have some bite to them as well.

So, will the Lions be able to repeat as champions of the division? Let's take a look at what the oddsmakers think:

Lions are favored to go back-to-back

The Lions are set as +145 favorites to win the NFC North in 2024, which is an implied probability of 40.82%.

This division is the only one in the league who doesn't have a team listed at +700 odds to longer. That means all four teams have a realistic shot of winning the NFC North, making it the most competitive division in the NFL.

With that being said, it's likely going to come down to the Lions and Packers. The Vikings will most likely be moving on from Kirk Cousins and the Bears are more than just a rookie quarterback away from being a contender.

The Lions should be poised to make another deep playoff run but the Packers seemingly have their QB of the future with Jordan Love along with one of the youngest rosters in the NFL.

Still, the Lions got great news that Ben Johnson, their offense coordinator, decided to remain with the team. Now, they can focus on improving their defense in the offseason which will make them a top NFC contender in 2024.

The NFC North goes through Detroit in 2024.
