Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown set to star in Netflix's "Quarterback" sequel
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown had a nice return home to Southern California in Week 10 against the Chargers, with eight receptions for a career-high 156 yards and a touchdown. Where his star power is outside of Detroit or the fantasy football community is hard to know, but things are set to ramp up.
According to Justin Rogers of the Detroit News, NFL Films has been following the Lions' wide receiver over the last few months. Multiple sources within the organization, who asked for anonymity due to the details not being released yet, confirmed St. Brown is set to be featured in the anticipated sequel to Netflix's popular Quarterback series.

The first season of the show followed the personal and professional lives of three NFL quarterbacks: Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota. Obviously, the series will be making a bit of a pivot in the follow-up by featuring a non-quarterback in St. Brown.
It had been previously reported former Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford would be featured in the second season of Quarterback if there was one, but the Rams' signal caller later said there had only been discussions.
Who else will be joining St. Brown on the new show is to be announced/reported, but Lions quarterback Jared Goff did tell 97.1 The Ticket he considered it before turning it down.
Amon-Ra St. Brown adding to his star power with upcoming Netflix series
St. Brown has joined the weekly podcast world with his brother Equanimeous in a partnership with The 33rd Team. He has become a star in Detroit, but as he has built his own resume of production and the Lions have won a lot of games he is becoming better-known nationally.
In terms of what to expect, Quarterback featured unprecedented access to the three aforementioned signal callers throughout the 2022 season. They were mic'd up during every game, and we got a behind-the-scenes look at their lives off the field. The formula worked, so Netflix is going back to the well while including St. Brown in the sequel.
