3. Danielle Hunter, EDGE
Speaking of a dominant force along their front seven, this is the move that makese the most sense. The Lions should try hard to land Vikings pass rusher Danielle Hunter, who is also in the last year of his contract. The Vikings haven't shown any indication that they would be willing to bring him back next offseason, which is why his name has been flown around countless trade rumors this season.
Hunter is a three-time Pro Bowler and currently leads the NFL with 9.0 sacks on the season. He is pacing to break his career high of 14.5, which he totaled in both 2018 and 2019. In fact, Hunter is pacing for roughly 20.0 sacks on the year, which would shatter that mark of 14.5.
The Lions' defense has been pretty good this year, but took a hit against the Ravens this past week. They are also no where near where they'd like to be in sacks, totaling 15 as a team. For perspective, Baltimore leads the league with 29.
Getting Hunter paired up with Aidan Hutchinson could spell a whole lot of trouble for the rest of the NFC, and put Detroit in position to run away with the division.
