Speaking of Gibbs, the fact he only saw 19 snaps to David Montgomery's 55 against the Chiefs was a point of consternation for Lions' fans (not to mention Gibbs' fantasy owners). The rookie looked very good when he was on the field, with 42 yards on seven carries and two catches for 18 yards. He forced six missed tackles on his seven rushes, with 34 yards after contact according to Pro Football Focus.

Dan Campbell hinted at a plan to limit Gibbs' workload against the Chiefs, and it happened. The day after the game, Campbell confirmed the easy assumption Gibbs will play more moving forward.

"Gibbs, he's pretty electric, and he's only going to get better, and he's going to get a bigger piece of the pie as we move forward," Campbell said. "... He'll begin to get more touches now, so that was just the beginning last night."""

Montgomery's role is not going to just go away, but the snap split in the Lions' backfield should naturally move toward Gibbs now. Until it shows out on the field though, with game plan and game script a factor, it's just talk from Campbell pointing to it happening.

The "should play more starting in Week 2" sentiment with Gibbs stretches toward being a lock. But we do have to see it. So he's the easy No. 1 on this list.
