Is Jahmyr Gibbs playing this week? (Latest injury update for Lions vs. Ravens in NFL Week 7)
By Peter Dewey
Detroit Lions rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs appears to be trending in the right direction to return to action in Week 7 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Gibbs has missed the team’s last two games with a hamstring injury.
The Lions could really use Gibbs in the lineup after running back David Montgomery was injured in Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and could miss this game.
Should Gibbs return, he could be walking into an every-down role for the Lions in Week 7.

Dan Campbell announced on Friday that he expects Jahmyr Gibbs to play Sunday against the Ravens.
Best Jahmyr Gibbs prop bet if he plays in NFL Week 7
Since he’s been injured, Gibbs doesn’t have any prop bets up this early in the week, but he’ll likely be a popular pick to score if he plays and Montgomery sits.
In his lone start this season with Montgomery out, Gibbs carried the ball 17 times for 80 yards. The rookie has been electric, but he’s seen limited touches. With a full workload, he’d be a solid bet to get his first score of his NFL career.

Jahmyr Gibbs injury history
This hamstring injury is the first ailment that Gibbs has dealt with at the NFL level.
The Lions have not rushed him back, sitting him out the last two weeks even though he was able to practice before Week 6.
It may be necessary to bring him back into the lineup in Week 7 since Montgomery is also banged up.
When is Jahmyr Gibbs coming back?
Gibbs appears to be in a better spot to have a chance to return in Week 7. He practiced last week but was eventually ruled out on Friday.
If he can’t play in Week 7, Gibbs’ next chance to return would be in Week 8 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
