The Detroit Lions have been one of the most dynamic offense in the NFL this season, and Amon-Ra St. Brown looks to be a big reason why.
However, the Lions' star wide receiver St. Brown's status is in doubt on Sunday afternoon in Week 5 action against the Detroit Lions with an abdomen injury. Without St. Brown, the Detroit offense will take a serious hit despite being big favorites at home.
Here's the latest on St. Brown and the Lions injury report on Sunday.
Amon-Ra St. Brown Injury Status for Week 5 against Panthers
St. Brown has trended in the wrong direction this week with his abdomen injury and it appears that the team's leading receiver is going to miss this week's game against the Lions.
It appears that St. Brown is being eased along in his recovery from an injury suffered last Thursday against the Packers. Here is what Dan Campbell had to say during the week:
Best Amon-Ra St. Brown prop bet for Lions vs. Panthers in NFL Week 5
Since St. Brown is likely to miss this game, there aren't any player props available for him, but the Lions are going to look to fill the void with the debut of promising second year pro Jameson Williams.
St. Brown has 26 catches for 331 yards and two touchdowns in four games. While Williams won't take over as the No. 1 receiver in his debut, the team is hoping to get him involved quickly. Here was both St. Brown and teammate David Montgomery hyping him up during the week.

When is Amon-Ra St. Brown Coming Back?
Based on the comments from Campbell, and the injury report this week, it doesn't appear that this will be a long term injury for the wide receiver. St. Brown initially got hurt in the team's Week 4 win against the Packers on Thursday Night Football, and the injury has lingered throughout the week.
This seems more like a injury management issue than a long-term ailment for St. Brown.
