2. Give Jahmyr Gibbs more touches
I would assume the Seahawks come out a bit more motivated and will likely put up more than 13 points in this one, therefore the Lions will have to put points on the board as well. It seems pretty obvious after his Week 1 showing, but giving running back Jahmyr Gibbs the ball more will probably result in more points scored, wouldn't you think?
There were a lot of unique stats regarding Gibbs' performance in his debut last week, but maybe the most impressive was the fact that he led the league in forced missed tackles with six.
Gibbs had just seven carries altogether. There were other running backs well over 20 carries in Week 1, which makes this flat-out incredible. In total, Gibbs had 60 yards of offense on only nine touches. It is imperative that he receives a minimum of 14 touches this week.
He looked electric with the ball in his hands. Gibbs needs more touches, and in creative ways. The Seahawks defense is going to be getting a couple of key pieces back this week, which we'll touch on next, and the Lions have to attack them with their best players. It is abundantly clear, that after just one week, Gibbs is one of their best players.
