Could these guys be playing their final days in the Motor City?

4. Josh Reynolds, WR

Josh Reynolds had a strong season, all things considered. He posted the second-highest receiving yards of his career with 608 and tied his career-high in receiving touchdowns with five. Reynolds and his quarterback, Jared Goff, have clear chemistry from their time together with the Rams in the past, and that certainly came into play at times this year.

The reason why I believe Reynolds will not return? There are actually a couple.

First off, Reynolds has proven to be a reliable WR2 and should be paid like it. He is a plug-and-play type of receiver at this point in his career, and any team looking for a veteran to step in right away and make an impact should be willing to sign him.

Secondly, I believe 2024 is Jameson Williams time. The Lions brought him along slowly, but the flashes we have seen out of the former first-round pick should be enough to think the Lions want to get him the ball on a more regular basis next season.

Could Reynolds be back next season? Absolutely, but I think he will need to accept less money in Detroit than he'd be offered elsewhere. Maybe, he's willing to do that in order to keep this thing going. If not, another team should be happy to pay him.
