1. Detroit Lions

The Lions were fortunate to see the Packers blow it late, because had Green Bay won, they'd be lower on the totem pole, here. But, the Lions lost a close game like the Packers did, and Detroit's Week 1 victory holds a whole lot more weight than Green Bay's does.

So, with a win over the Chiefs and an identical record to Green Bay, the Lions are still no. 1 in the NFC North.

It was a back-and-forth game between the Lions and Seahawks, with no lead ever surpassing 10 points. There were a total of three ties throughout this one, with the last one coming as time expired and Riley Patterson hit the field goal which would send it into overtime.

Unfortunately, Geno Smith led the Seahawks down to a game-winning touchdown on their first drive of overtime.

Overall, this was a great game and especially a good one played by Jared Goff, who went for 323 yards and three scores, with one pick. The Lions simply faced a hungry Seahawks team coming off an embarrassing Week 1 loss. Next week, Detroit will take on a 2-0 Falcons team in what might end up being a fantastic matchup.
