After beating the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1, the Detroit Lions will welcome a second straight playoff opponent from last year to Ford Field on Sunday as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers come to town.

On the injury front for Week 2 the Lions listed right tackle Penei Sewell as questionable due to a right ankle injury, but he was adamant to reporters that he's playing.

Defensive end Marcus Davenport was listed as doubtful after a groin injury kept him out of practice all week. History under head coach Dan Campbell when players are listed as doubtful, if that affirmation is truly necessary, says Davenport will miss Sunday's game.

Wide receiver Jameson Williams is listed as questionable due to an ankle injury, but there's no real doubt about his availability for Sunday's game and reports from Saturday night and early Sunday morning confirmed that. Also questionable is safety Kerby Joseph (hamstring), and he's trending the right way toward playing after graduating to a limited practice on Friday.

Safety Ifeatu Melifonwu (ankle) and wide receiver Isaiah Williams (abdomen) were declared out for Sunday's game on Friday's injury report. Melifonwu also missed Week 1, and his status moving forward is cloudy after he regressed to not being able to practice this week.

Defensive tackle DJ Reader (quad) practiced in full all week, and he will make his Lions debut on Sunday. Cornerback Carlton Davis (chest) and rookie safety Loren Strickland (thumb) also have no injury designation. Strickland missed Week 1, so if he's active it will be his NFL regular season debut.

To be updated when fully revealed, here are the Lions' Week 2 inactives. Sewell and Williams are active, as is Reader.

  • S Ifeatu Melifonwu
  • CB Ennis Rakestraw
  • DE Marcus Davenport
  • WR Isaiah Williams
  • OL Colby Sorsdal
  • OL Giovanni Manu
  • LB Trevor Nowaske

Rakestraw is a healthy scratch after mostly playing special teams in Week 1. The other inactives are no surprise. James Houston is active after being a healthy scratch in Week 1.

Here are the Buccaneers' Week 2 inactives. Four players were declared out on Friday.

  • S Antoine Winfield
  • OT Luke Goedeke
  • DT Calijah Kancey
  • CB Josh Hayes
  • TE Devin Culp
  • OLB Jose Ramirez
  • DL Ben Stille
