Detroit Lions running back Craig Reynolds (questionable, toe/hamstring) is expected to play in Week 7 against the Baltimore Ravens, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Reynolds is listed as questionable this week after he filled in for the injured David Montgomery in Week 6.

Montgomery has been ruled out for this game, so there’s a chance Reynolds has a role for the 5-1 Lions in Week 7.

Craig Reynolds injury status for Week 7 game vs. Baltimore Ravens

Reynolds is listed as questionable for Week 7, but he is expected to play. It is likely that he will back up Jahmyr Gibbs for the Lions on Sunday.

Best Detroit Lions prop bet for Week 7 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Jahmyr Gibbs anytime touchdown scorer

We don’t know how the backfield split will work between Gibbs and Reynolds, but one has to think that the Lions are going to use their first-round pick with David Montgomery out.

In the lone game Monty missed this season, Gibbs did not score – but he did receive 17 carries in that game, rushing for 80 yards.

Reynolds is a solid glue guy, but he struggled in Week 6 in place of Montgomery – rushing for just 15 yards on 10 carries. I’d roll with Gibbs as a touchdown scorer this week.

Craig Reynolds injury history

Reynolds has been in Detroit for three seasons, but he’s played sparingly as a backup during those campaigns.

Still, he’s a terrific team player who threw a great block to set up an Amon-Ra St. Brown touchdown in Week 6. He doesn’t have any major injury history at the NFL level to report on.

Reynolds is expected to play in Week 7 despite dealing with toe and hamstring injuries.
