The Detroit Lions have finally won their first playoff game since 1991, but the job's not finished.

Now, with the help of the Packers upsetting the Cowboys, the Lions will host a second postseason game. This time, they'll welcome the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Ford Field for a Divisional Round showdown.

The Lions likely would've been underdogs in a rematch with the Cowboys, but now they'll enter the Divisional Round as significant favorites to advance to the NFC Championship. Let's take a look at the opening odds.

Buccaneers vs. Lions odds, spread, and total

The Lions opened as 6-point favorites to the Buccaneers, but that lined moved in favor of the Lions and now sits at -6.5 as of Tuesday late-afternoon. The total for the game opened at 48.5 and has remained steady at that number.

Given their -275 moneyline odds, oddsmakers are giving the Lions an implied probability of 73.33% of winning the game and moving on to the NFC Championship. In that game, they'll either hit the road to take on the San Francisco 49ers, or host the Green Bay Backers in an all-NFC North showdown.

The Lions beat the Buccaneers once already this season, winning by a final score of 20-6 in Tampa Bay back in Week 6.

Despite beating the Rams this past weekend, there has to be some concern over the Lions' defense. They allowed the Rams to gain 7.7 yards per play and 9.4 yards per pass attempt. If they want to continue this run, sharpening up their defense is going to be a must.

The positive takeaways from the game is their offense and their red zone performance, both offensively and defensively. The Lions went 3-for-3 inside the red zone, scoring a touchdown all three times they got within the 20-yard line. Their defense, meanwhile, held the Rams to three field goals on three red zone trips.

There's a lot to like about this Lions team and a path is open for them to advance to the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history.
