3. WR Chase Cota

Cota had a nice outing against the Giants in the first preseason game, with four catches for 60 yards. Campbell called the undrafted rookie out of Oregon a "quiet sleeper" after the game, and he had a good week of practice this past week.

The last couple spots on Lions wide receiver depth chart coming out of the preseason are as wide open as they've been, which is saying something. But Jameson Williams out for the preseason and Denzel Mims being waived-injured opens up opportunity.

To further establish his case for a roster spot, Cota needs to carry momentum right through Saturday's game.

2. WR Dylan Drummond

Drummond's preseason star faded a bit with Cota's performance against the Giants, but he would have had a touchdown in Nate Sudfeld had made a better throw. But the UDFA out of Eastern Michigan still absolutely has a great opportunity in front of him.

Drummond is also in the mix to be the Lions' kickoff returner with Justin Jackson's sudden retirement last week, which will give him extra opportunity to earn roster spot.

Drummond is still easy to pencil in to a 53-man roster spot. But he can practically lock it in by doing well against the Jaguars. Having Teddy Bridgewater under center can only help.

Speaking of Bridgewater...
