2024 NFL Draft: Start time, location and how to watch
The 2024 NFL Draft is now two weeks away, and Detroit Lions' fans are certainly a little extra excited about the draft this year since it will be in Detroit.
The Lions currently have seven picks in the 2024 draft, starting with pick No. 29 in the first round.
Round 1: No. 29 overall
Round 2: No. 61 overall
Round 3: No. 73 overall
Round 5: No. 164 overall
Round 6: No. 201 overall (from Tampa Bay in the Carlton Davis trade, where the Lions sent the No. 92 overall pick this year to the Buccaneers)
Round 6: No. 205 overall
Round 7: No. 249 overall
As of right now the Lions don't have a fourth-round pick this year, having sent it to the Minnesota Vikings in the T.J. Hockenson trade at the 2022 deadline. So they will have a 91-pick wait from the third round to the fifth round, from Day 2 until into Day 3. If it makes sense, it feels sure general manager Brad Holmes will end up making a trade to fill that lengthy gap during the draft.
Here's some key, basic information about the 2024 NFL Draft.
