The Detroit Lions are set to square off with the Baltimore Ravens on the road for Monday Night Football. Week 3 treating fans to such a heavyweight bout so early in the year is far, far too kind.
Detroit is heading into this contest the healthier squad, despite losing Marcus Davenport to the IR ahead of the game. The time to cleanse their palette of the dominant win Baltimore got over them two years ago is now.
Still, there's some injury news to offer to fans with time winding down to the game. A surprising addition to the inactives list ahead of the contest is Craig Reynolds, who was nowhere to be found on the Lions' injury reports from the week. This is definitely a healthy scratch with the return of Sione Vaki to the lineup.

Vaki will probably not get much burn in this contest barring injury to one of Jahmyr Gibbs or David Montgomery, or if the game gets out of hand one way or the other. Still, it's a surprising scratch considering Reynolds had practiced all week, and looked great in the preseason.
Mekhi Wingo is another healthy scratch, but he's still ramping back up into action since rehabbing from his torn ACL. His absence makes more sense.

As for Baltimore, their inactives list is lengthy. We knew that to be the case ahead of the game kicking off, though. Inuries have mounted for them ahead of this key game, with the biggest names not suiting up being Kyle Van Noy and Nnamdi Madubuike. There's been an additional few names added to Baltimore's final inactives list before Week 3:

Isaiah Likely and Jaire Alexander are the other two names likely to catch Lions fans' eyes. Alexander hasn't been a factor so far this season for the Ravens due to injuries, though - sound familiar? - and Likely had been limited in practice all week before the team decided to rule him out completely in what's sure to be a physical game.
Detroit might seem like they're constantly dealing with these injury woes, but Baltimore is giving them a run for their money for this game. It should still be a fun one between these two Super Bowl contending units.
