It's the last thing the Detroit Lions needed.
Already dealing with a long injury list on both sides of the ball, the Lions have now lost star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown. He left Detroit's Thanksgiving game against the Green Bay Packers after getting rolled up on by two of his teammates. He immediately went to the locker room. The Lions have already lost tight end Sam LaPorta. St. Brown going down could significantly impact the offense.
The official update from the Lions is that St. Brown suffered an ankle injury. This post will be updated with the latest news on Detroit's star pass-catcher.

The Lions have now ruled out St. Brown for the remainder of the game. It seemed the most likely outcome after he missed almost the entire first half. All eyes turn to Dan Campbell's postgame press conference for further updates.
Update: Amon-Ra St. Brown questionable to return with an ankle injury
The Lions have announced that St. Brown is questionable to return to the game due to an ankle injury. He immediately limped to the locker room.
St. Brown walked off the field but appeared to be in some discomfort as he left the field. It's always concerning when a player goes straight to the locker room. Hopefully, he avoided a significant injury.
With St. Brown out of the lineup, at least for now, the Lions will need to rely on their rushing attack to lead the way. Jared Goff is without two of his top targets, making Jameson Williams' big-play ability so important. Between Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery, and Williams, Goff is still surrounded by enough playmakers to hurt the Packers' offense.
